At the age of 15, her parents accompanied her to England and enrolled her at boarding school there. Later Michelle entered the London Royal Academy of Dance, majoring in Ballet.

Sakinah : However Fida she sustained a spinal injury which forced her to focus her passion to other arts. Consequently, she got a Bachelor of Arts degree major in Creative Arts and minor in Drama. She is not just a good actress and dancer but also very excellent in education. I solutes her.She is fantastic woman that never giving up even she faces many obstacle in building her career untill she successed today.Fida, can you tell me further about her life and how she started her career as actor in Hong Kong ?

Hafidah : In 1983, at the age of 21, Yeoh won the Miss Malaysia beauty pageant. She was also Malaysia's representative at the 1983 Miss World pageant in London. From there, she appeared in a television commercial with Jackie Chan which caught the attention of a fledgling Hong Kong film production company, D&B Films.Yeoh's career in Hong Kong started with a few commercials for illegal Charles Jourdan, opposite action movie heroes Jackie Chan and Chow Yun-Fat before being offered a film contract. The Charles Jourdan brand was handled by D&B Group in Hong Kong, run by Yeoh's future husband, Dickson Poon. In 1988, she retired from acting after marrying Poon. . Her first movie after the comeback was Police Story 3: Supercop, which was partly shot in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Sakinah : Oh, i see.And Hafidah, what i know are in 1993, Michelle then returned to acting and went to do Police Story 3 which was sot in part in Malaysia. She also appeared that year in The Heroic Trio and Tai Chi Master. The following year she was seen on Wing Chun. In 1997, she had her first Hollywood break in the film Tomorrow Never Dies, one of the James Bond films of Pierce Brosnan. She played the role of Wai Lin. In 2002, she made her first film as a producer in The Touch. Then in 2004 she landed the lead female role in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. The success of Crouching Tiger leads to more Hollywood offers including a role in the two sequels of Matrix. However due to conflict in schedule she could not accept the role. In 2005, she appeared in Memoirs of a Geisha, appearing as Mameha. Do you know any reward of her?

Sakinah : She was a great woman.Thank you Fida for the information.I am also lucky to have a great friend like you.

Hafidah : You too, Sakinah.

Sakinah : Before that, i would like to share this Michelle Yeoh qoutes "I prefer to be kicked four or five times well, you know, hard, than twenty or twenty five times not so good " and "The most important thing is that you have really good friends and family, and when you go back to them, it's like 'what?'. You carry on as who you are. "
